Why do you think has the adoption of Steem apps been so slow?
Steem has paid exceptionally well to the average content creator on the internet. In fact, at times the rewards for completely ordinary pieces of content have been utterly outlandish like the author rewards for one $30,000 makeup tutorial: https://steemit.com/beauty/@guerrint/the-first-steemit-makeup-turtorial-bringing-youtubers-to-steemit That post was worth a whopping $31,453.06! 31... (more)

Why are nearly all African countries pathologically homophobic?
Is it mainly because they are very religious as in strongly Christian or Muslim and thus against homosexuality on religious grounds? Or is there something else involved such as a belief that homosexuality is caused by an evil spirit or something like that? It seems... (more)

Can you think of ways blockchain technology could be used to reduce corruption in your country?
Where trust is low the blockchain could be used as a trust prosthetic because the blockchain enables transactions to be trustless. But the exact ways in which to do it may vary according to local circumstances. In what ways do think the blockchain could be... (more)

Do you think humans will merge with machine intelligence or end up rendered obsolete?
The price of computing power, memory and bandwidth have been dropping at an exponential rate for over a century. There have been several paradigm shifts the latest of which that has lasted for 50 years is integrated circuits etched on silicon chips. The theoretical... (more)

If it were possible to upload every bit of information in your brain and thus your mind onto a computer, would you do it? If yes, why? If not, why not?

Why does a cat play with its prey?
Why would a cat waste energy throwing around a pray?

Do you think Musing should try and diversify content on Musing from the crypto and relationship related to other topics?
It seems to me question that crypto-related or about relationships is more likely to receive an upvote from @musing than questions about something else. Is this true? Should discussion of other topics be encouraged on Musing?

How vulnerable is your country and the area where you live to climate change?
