Why do people powerdown their steempower? Why cant they just invest it to help others and most expecially stem market?
Why are they powering down their steempower always instead of investing it?
It's their steempower, they can do whatever they want with it.

If you have lots of steem power then perhaps you can choose to invest it to help others and most expecially the stem market.

People powerdown for all types of reason as @valth puts it. it could even be just for the fun of it. No one can do anything about it.

that's doesnt mean only those with steempower has control too! You!! you can do things to help others and the steem market too. Contribute your time and effort, provide service in exchange of steem, sell stuff locally or on Steem-based markets.

Get people to join in steem. Bonus points if they are already bloggers, artists, developers or youtubers. You can make steem a better place too. Maybe one person not so much but 10,000 people certainly will do some good. And you have to be among the 10,000 to make it 10,000.

Good vibes to you!!

Some are powering down constantly because they earn more than they can power down each week. So they are powering down to hold their steem in more secure places like maybe a wallet offline. They are probably also using that money to func other projects or pay bills.

There are probably lots of different reasons, but here are some of the most common ones:
- They have lost faith in Steem.
- They believe that Steem will drop in value.
- They move their funds from being invested in Steem to another project/crypto.
- They cash out to pay the bills, buy stuff etc.
