Ethereum Constantinople will be providing a more efficient network, offering better performance and it will open up the gate for Casper proof-of-stake which will allow Ethereum move on from proof-of-work state in which it is at the moment.
As it is announced on 16 January 2019 it is the first big event on the cryptocurrency market and probably it will climb also the price together with the trust of the community.
I love Ethereum and I believe that on long term it can be the number 1 crypto!

Now, on price. It will probably be dumped. Because due to HF's speculation people buy and just before the HF, they sell.
Sure case could be different but so far amount of HF's I have witnessed in cryptocurrency world, scene remains unchanged.
