What are the benefits of using bid-bots in your opinion?

Bid-bots annoy the hell out of me! I understand how it can be beneficial but I prefer real human interaction in the Steemit blockchain with genuine emotions and expressions. Actually, take the time to read and upvote your favorite users.

Promotion of posts should be natural based on the quality of the content. I do not use bid-bots and have no intentions of using them in the future! 😤

Believe it or not, using bidbots is all not that bad.

Bidbot helps increase one's visibility on the platform. With how the Steem platform displays posts in a single-streamlined manner, it is no wonder that people just don't have the luxury and time to browse all posts. Using bidbots will place your blog post in "Hot" and "Trending" section which will increase the chances of getting more attention to it and thus possible "more" upvotes and more followers provided that the upvoted post is of quality.

Money-wise, I don't really see much profit on it if the bidbot is the only one who is upvoting but it is a good way to convert your Steem/SBD into Steem Power while increasing your visibility and followers on the platform.

Also, most bidbots are owned by well-known and influential steemians and already have a high-level reputation, so being upvoted by one increases your reputation albeit slowly.

I think bidbots are useful only to promote your post and boost your reputation. They don't boost the SP so much, and in some cases, when the price of steem is falling, you may even lose; however, they are good as when your post get to the trending page, you can get more followers and also organic upvotes.

For a "healthy and organic growth" of you Steem account I don't see any. In my opinion they're just a waste of money and don't consider them a proper tool for advertising or anything proper for the platform. I see them making more harm than good.
