Every country has something unique and special about them but my country uniqueness is more than you can ever imagine and this is why most people from other countries always love to visit my country and spend some time just to check out of some of it's specialties even though I my self can't know them all 😊.
I am sure you will know my country very well because my country is the giant of Africa and one of the best countries generating huge amounts of money from Oil and Gas. You already know my country is Nigeria 😀.
As we all know the corrupt nature of most African countries even in some part of the world because I believe it is a habit that is widely practiced in most countries. As human beings, we can't be perfect and since the country is always governed by some imperfect people, we can't expect the country to also be perfect. Some foreigners may view my country as bad country due to what they hear or see on the media or read on the internet, but believe me Nigeria is one of the best countries you won't want to exit easily after visiting.
I will share some of the unique qualities of Nigeria and I am sure every Nigerians here can testify to most of my claims after reading this post.
I won't waste time, let's get the cat out of the bag 😊.
1) THE HOME OF AGRICULTURE : It is of no doubt that Nigeria is one of the top countries that engage in Agriculture around the world. One of the gift God gave Nigeria is their "Fertile Land". Some foreigners do tell me that my country is blessed with special lands. This is why some people in some part of Nigeria always engage in Agricultural practice which are sometimes exported for business, consumed for personal use or traded for profit.
There are some fruits seeds or food seeds that may not grow anywhere except in Nigeria. Some countries make use of artificial supplements such as Fertilizer just to make their crop rich in nutrients but we Nigerians are already blessed with that without waisting any amount of money on Fertilizer.
Agricultural practice has helped most unemployed Nigerian youths today to be their own boss because they are earning very cool cash from Agricultural practice. I know some of my friends who are into fishery or fish farming, some are into crop planting, while some delved into Animal Farming. This guys are making very cool cash and this is possible because my county is the home for Agriculture 😊.
I also want to use this medium to advice other unemployed Nigerians who may he reading this to engage in Agricultural practice and start making their money without waisting much time on any employment opportunities if they couldn't find any job. I know of unemployed graduates who are now their own boss and they are earning very bountifully with the help of Agriculture.
2) COMFORTABLE WEATHER/ FAVORABLE CLIMATIC CONDITION : I once watched a video on YouTube whereby all most every inmates of a particular country around the world were all walking almost naked with their clothes off just because the weather was sunny. This brought great joy for them such that they had to occupy the whole street playing up and down with happiness in their face. The fact is that this country is always used to experiencing snowfall almost everyday and this is not making them comfortable.
In Nigeria, we are blessed with favorable weather conditions which is raining season and Harmattan season in addition to constant sun shine😊. This is why some Nigerians may find it very difficult to survive in some areas with constant snowfall because we aren't used to such weather and similarly, a foreigner will find it very easy to stay in Nigeria because of the favorable weather condition 😊.
3) GIANT OF AFRICA: Nigeria is a very popular country and widely known for it's uniqueness. We are the giant of Africa and I am sure #wafrica can testify to this😊. We are very high in population when compared to sole other African countries.
4) NOLLYWOOD: Just like we have Hollywood in American movies, Bollywood in Indian, Gallywood in Ghana, we also have Nollywood in Nigeria 😊. I am sure you might have watched most Nollywood movies that got you excited an happy which makes you say "this movie is very interesting". We Nigerians are actually the producers and actors of such movies 😊.
Actors and actresses in Nigeria are also making us proud by receiving great awards in some international concerts.
5) MUSIC: We are not only good at acting movies, but we are also unique in terms of Music 😊. Most of our musical superstars are widely known all over the world and they are making us proud. The fact is that most international countries also love to feature us in their music because we have many mind blowing and talented musicians who are ready to inspire you with their great music. I am sure you might have heard about 2 face, P square, Wizkid and many others who were able to bag tough awards like MTV base and other international awards.
6) CHRISTIANITY AND ISLAM MOSTLY PRACTICED: Nigeria is one of the country with the highest population and we are not left out in terms of religion. Christianity and Islam is the most widely practiced religion in Nigeria even though there may seem to be little amount of traditional religions.
7) RIVER NIGER IS WEST AFRICA LARGEST RIVER: I don't know to say much about this because you already know this. If you are in doubt, make a comment about this in the comment section 😊.
8) THE LONGEST BRIDGE IN AFRICA: Nigeria is the only county with the longest bridge in Africa till date and thus bridge is situated at Lagos State known as "Third Mainland Bridge" . It measures about 11.8km. The bridge starts from Oworonshoki which is linked to the Apapa-Oshodi expressway and Lagos-Ibadan expressway and ends at the Adeniji Adele Interchange on Lagos Island. There is also a link midway through the bridge that leads to the Herbert Macaulay Way, Yaba. The bridge was built by Julius Berger Nigeria PLC and opened by President Ibrahim Babangida in 1990.
9) WE ARE UNIQUE IN CHARACTER: The fact is that you will surely know a Nigerian is around when you are in their midst or gathering because we behave differently. We tend to do some funny things and we also make impact anywhere we find ourselves. There are lots of Nigerians making impact on Steemit and similarly on Musing such that they add more value to the platform.
10) WE LOVE MONEY: Lols... This may sound funny but I think it applies to almost everyone 😀😀. We all love money and everyone wants to earn money. You will always find Nigerians active when it has to do with earning money 😂😂😂.
In conclusion, there is more unique qualities about my country apart from my country being the most populated country in Africa and other things I have listed. I am proud of my country and I love my country. A Proud Nigerian writing about the uniqueness of his country #nigeria.
Thanks for reading and I hope this helps.
Everyone would have heard of India. My country is very unique and one of a kind which cannot be classified as belonging to a certain group.
Before I answer about why my country is unique, I would like to say that I am not going to write a wiki type article that everyone already knows and would not even care to read.
Misconceptions about India
India is a country which has welcomed people from all over the world and absorbed into itself. The natives of India are the Dravidians. Later, people from Iran, known as Aryans settled in India. After that, it was the Muslims, Portuguese, French and finally the British.
If you pick an Indian, he would display an amalgamation of all these cultures. The food, language and the ancestry contain influences.
What makes India unique is that anybody is welcome. Even strangers are given food. Most of the temples, mosques and Gurudwaras offer free food on a daily basis. Those who avail this service are devotees and people who depend on these holy places.
Food is very cheap, especially street food. one can eat a full meal for a dollar and not go to bed hungry. There are high end restaurants too for those who believe in blowing money for food that is served with class.
The villages of India boast of craftsmen who are skilled in their work. If you visit India and want to buy village handicrafts and cloth made on looms and stuff, visit the villages and buy it directly from the poor craftsmen. The mall shops and other such shops only serve to loot the tourists.
Culture is what makes India stand out. The colors.
The people of my country do not believe in black and white. You won't find anyone dressed in formal western clothing during festivals and even on ordinary occasion and such. People love color and dress so. It helps that we have so many textile mills which produce colorful clothing. Also, our hot and humid climate does not recommend black clothes.
I belong to the state of Kerala which is famous for the art forms, martial arts, temples and churches and food. Dishes like fish curry and tapioca are loved by the tourists too.
I do realize that our country is still in the developing phase and that corruption does eat away its progress but it does not mean that we stop trying to be the best.
We shall overcome, some day...
Once, Malaysia had the tallest buildings in the world. Still holding the current record for tallest twin buildings in the world. Singapore, which is one of the richest country in the world with one of the highest GDP, was once part of Malaysia. Malaysia was in the past called MALAYA and that's when Singapore joined and Malaysia got it's SI placed into it.
Kuala Lumpur is the capital of Malaysia. It has one of the highest tourist incoming out of the top ten of the world best travel destination.
In this country, I guess, you've got the oldest prime minister in the world. He used to be the Prime Minister of the country in the past but due to corruption, he came out of retirement and became prime minister again at the age of 92.
The white house of Malaysia.
Malaysia is home to AIRASIA , one of the world's most famous low cost airlines.
This country is oil rich and is located near a busy port. The different races blend in well and there is a relatively low amount of discrimination. There is very low gun violence in this country and having a gun in Malaysia, if caught by authorities leads to a death penalty. Carrying drugs or selling drugs of more than a certain amount leads to death penalty.

There are a lot of unique things about Malaysia, but these are just some of them. I guess, it would take a long time to try to mention everything.
Poland have Myself.
Does that count?
Okay, seriously now.
We have quite peculiar History.
For example, we were pretty much the first "modern" European country to adopt Parliamentary Democracy in 1493,
where the King, while being a King for life,
had to be elected by the Parliament, and could be removed from the office as well.
Another cute factoid about Polish history is that we had the strongest military in the world for a while.
Polish Elite Heavy Cavalry called Husaria which have allegedly stood undefeated for a period of 125 years between 1500 and 1625.
It was reported, that soldiers for hire, very popular in Europe at that time, would only enlist to various armies if their contract clearly stated that they will not be made to fight the Husaria.
Hussars wore a full body plate armor, and their horses, a special breed, which was illegal under the penalty of death to sell abroad, also wore a plate armor. Together, all the equipment of a single rider weight around 100kg.
Husaria is most famous for Removing Kebab from Europe. [Battle of Vienna 1683]
Polish army was the only European army to ever take Kremlin [Moscow], and make the Russian empire squeal for mercy.
Not the unstoppable march of Napoleon Bonaparte's army. Not Adolf Hitler's most advanced in the world army of tanks and planes.
Polish mother f'ing army.
No wonder Russia keeps a special place in gulag of their heart for us.
Let's stop sucking the ego of Polish military for a moment.
At one point, or rather, at three points in the History, Prussia, Russia, and Austrian-Hungarian empire decided, that Poland is an uncomfortable neighbour.
And so, they together took the country apart in 1795, and for over 100 years Poland disappeared from the world map.
After The Allied countries pretty much gave us as a present to Stalin, and USSR,
Poland was a "socialist country" for a while.
Until we removed socialists much like we removed Kebab. ;)
What are other interesting factoids?
Original Polish National Anthem lyrics mentioned Italy, Sweden, Russia, Germany, and France. Italian National Anthem mentions Poland! And, both anthems mention the other country in the context of friendship.
In Poland, while not everyone was a "free person" like we understand it today, Slavery was illegal since like, forever.
We didn't have any colonies overseas, but France considered presenting Poland with the rights to Madagascar.
Unfortunately, Bonaparte did not rule long enough to fulfill the promise.
So yeah, kind of neat.
How do you think?
YOUR PEOPLE! In my country the greatest thing is your people. We have beautiful landscapes, natural riches, but nothing compares to the wonderful experience of meeting a Venezuelan. The Venezuelan is known because he is a cheerful person, who smiles face to face, who laughs not only with his mouth but with his eyes and body. The Venezuelan is a hard-working person, who prepares himself, who asks questions, who prefers to be ignorant one day and not all his life, that's why he asks. It is curious.
The people of my country are in solidarity. In my country we are all cousins, friends, compadres and that's how we treat each other. We help each other, we exchange, we do.
The people of my country are fighters. For a reason it is the cradle of heroes in America! We are brave, risky, impetuous. My people don't give up, even if in battle their lives go away.
My people are not racist or discriminate. In my country we are all the same and that's why we were once the destinations of many immigrants. Our arms are long and we embrace sincerely. Our home is everyone's home.
In my country women are beautiful, but human. So all the children of all the mothers will be from each one of them. Loving, patient, female, who fight for their family every day, from the time they wake up to the time they sleep.
In my country people write, sing and play as if they were eternal children. They don't know days to celebrate or hours to serenade you.
When you meet a Venezuelan, you immediately recognize him because he is one of those who speak of VENEZUELA as if they carried it in their souls.
Unique thing that is owned by Indonesian people who have been worldwide. However, it is the uniqueness that is the strengths and weaknesses of the Indonesian people, which is the real fact that occurs among Indonesians in general.
People who have no trust (atheists) will be considered communists. Out there, atheists are a natural thing to happen, but they don't call them Communists.
Sometimes Indonesians cannot distinguish between what is called charity and bribery. Maybe this could be linked to the political maney.
Most Indonesians rarely finish the sentences spoken, this is due to constraints in communication.
Most wives in Indonesia always assume that husbands must provide everything (family backbone) even though if we look abroad that there is gender equality between women and men especially in matters of husband and wife. So it's no wonder that many foreign wives can be independent.
Most Indonesian people always eat Sambal when they are eating their food and of course that has become a natural thing in Indonesia.
Indonesians like to go to the beach and bask in the sun, like following the lifestyle of outsiders, but when they arrive at home each Indonesian is busy how to whiten the skin again. whereas for foreigners, Indonesian people with brown skin are something charming.
Indonesians are very happy to go abroad, because when they think that impressive impressions can travel abroad especially if you can capture every moment by taking photos or videos. Even though many foreigners are craving for tourist attractions in Indonesia.
What most impressed foreigners with Indonesians was the existence of a mutual cooperation culture, because there would be rarely overseas activities that had become a form of Indonesian social activity.
Indonesian people eat more than strangers, say 3 times a day. whereas for us it is commonplace (morning, afternoon, night). Especially when they see coolies who are enjoying their food, the jumbo version, something unique for foreigners.
More than 30% of population goes to Vernacular schools.
The only country in the world to force one of its states, Singapore to become an independent nation (1965).
1. The Largest Archipelagic Country in the World
Maybe you have often heard about this first fact. However, did you know that Indonesia is not only the largest archipelagic country in the world, but some of the islands in Indonesia are also included in the 6 largest islands in the world?
Three islands in Indonesia, namely the islands of Borneo, Sumatra, and Papua are included in the top 6 islands in the world.
Papua, with an area of 786 square kilometers, places itself in the position of the second largest island in the world, followed by Borneo island (743 square kilometers) in fourth place, and Sumatra island (443 square kilometers) in sixth place.
2. Most ethnic groups in the world
Besides the largest archipelagic country, Indonesia also places its position as the country with the most ethnic groups in the world.
At present, it is known that there are more than 740 ethnic groups in Indonesia, of which 270 are found on the island of Papua alone.
In addition, Indonesia is also the country with the most regional languages, where there are 583 regions out of 67 main languages used by various ethnic groups in Indonesia.
