Actually I started out as a newbie as well, getting an upvote from musing.io took me a while, but I started getting the upvotes when I discovered the onus of how to ask and answer questions very well.
Believe me, you don't need to be a professional to answer questions on musing.io, the secret there is that do not answer questions that you do not have indept knowledge about and do not attempt copying questions or answers from google or the internet as this will suggest plagiarism as well.
When it comes to questions, you need to have knowledge of the question in particular, be very precise in your question make it very simple to understand, check for mistakes and even spelling errors and use reasonable tags as well
For answers as well, try to be unique, answer questions that you're capable of and not every question, state your facts according to your understanding and at the same time don't be lazy, elaborate your points in a well written explanatory texts and well you'll get upvotes from musing.io
Upvote from musing.io is not guaranteed.
However, there are two way by which upvotes can be earned.
First through asking questions. Before asking questions following should be kept in mind.
Question should be relevant.
Avoid asking repeated question.
Question asked should be clear and properly described.
Second way of getting upvtoes is by answering the questions asked by the user. Following should be kept in mind while answering:
Answer given should be relevant to the question asked.
Given complete explanation of answer for better understanding.
Avoid coping others content. Otherwise you will be flagged.
Well trust me when I say that getting an upvote from musing isn't as hard as rocket science. It's actually as easy as your ABCs. To put it simply, all you have to do is answer questions properly.
Different types of questions are asked on musing every day and they caught across many genres ranging from cryptocurrency and the blockchain all the way to anime and movies. All you have to do is pick an area which you are sure you're fairly knowledgeable in and answer questions on that topic.
If your answers meet up to musing standards then the upvotes will start coming in. You just have to make sure that your answers are of high quality. Musing rewards quality and if that's what you give in your answers then they'll upvote you asany times as you answer questions.
Keep answering questions, study how people who's answers get upvoted answer questions and model the way you answer yours after them, don't plagiarise and if you must do research before you answer a question then put your answers in your own word, copying and pasting from another site will do you no good on musing.
Finally you can also ask smart questions on musing and depending on how many people try to answer you question and how thought provoking it is, you just might get a little something from musing.
I hope this helps
Quite easy: write high quality answers, or ask high quality questions. From my experience, it doesn't really matter how many words are in there, or if there is a lot of blah blah yadda yadda in your text, just answer as correctly as possible. And regarding the questions, useful questions that people are interested in reading the answer to.Not just the 750th rewording of the same questions.
It's very easy. Here's the trick. Don't think about the upvotes!
I've noticed, there are two types of users on musing. (This is subjective and not applicable to everyone).
You have those who love to ask questions, and you have those who love to answer questions. If musing interests you, why?
Are you interested in both the Q&A's, or do you have a propensity towards one vs the other? If neither of these two aspects of the platform interests you, and you are merely looking at the rewards, I think the rewards will come less naturally.
To me, it's obvious enough who is here for rewards, and you can guess how much those individuals are making.
An upvote from Musing is not Guaranteed. However if you get one consider it a bonus on the effort that you made on either asking the question or answering any.
While it is seen that in compared to asking a question the answers get more Upvotes and there is a reason behind it.
While you can consider few things in mind when answering/asking a question :
As you can see the effort that the users give in answering a question and thus helping the person who asked the question and removing the difficulties on that particular point does deserves a quick reward and anther thing that gives both the users who asks/answers the questions is some motivation and self confidence to go ahead in this platform.
While given the above thought it is not very hard to get an Upvote from Musing you can answer to the point and as easy accessible for the user to understand your answer/question. And give as much point to point information about that question.
