I am an investor although the prices of cryptos are dropping soon after I invested for the first time. However I haven't lost my faith in cryptos from an investment point of view but I haven't got any money to buy more either. I do consider that at these prices this would be a good time to buy crypto if you are interested in that. I am not a professional trader or investor but when you look at prices especially the one of Bitcoin it is obvious that they are absolute bargains. Not all of them though and I would we very careful in what to invest because I don't think that all of the cryptos will recover in the next bull run. I think that last year we have had many bubbles that have burst already and that many of the cheap and very cheap altcoins gained a lot of market cap due to pure speculation. Nowadays it seems that market is more mature and investors are very cautious when investing and take in account much more than before what that crypto and its blockchain actually do. What is its use case, what future does it has. Something like how it happen with the dot com bubble when many sites were promising a lot but just a few were actually offering something and survived over years. I believe that the same thing will happen with cryptos also where the ones that have real use case and a working product will attract money in the future while the speculative ones from the previous bull run will simply die. I saw recently a news about ICOs and according to it 90% of the ones launched last year don't have a working product. If I would be an investor getting into crypto right now I would pay a lot of attention on what I would put my money on.
I am an investor of crypto. I may not necessarily have invested cash, but I sure have invested my time. I still am investing my time, but I am a bit skeptical lately. I have invested so much time that I have gotten nothing to show for it. Quite pathetic.
I wouldn't exactly call myself investor because haven't invested my own money yet but I'm not a skeptic either.
I've been investing what I've been earning here and I'm optimistic about the future of Steemit. I'm not holding any other crypto right now, except for some airdrops.
So it depends on the point of view, I think you can call me an investor, besides, I would invest invest my own money if I'd have a certain amount.
I'm not skeptic for sure and I actually believe that digital currencies + blockchain is the thing of the future.
But I can't consider myself as an investor either, I'm talking about a person with so much extra fiat that can be invested anytime without the worries of future expenses.
If time is valuable, then at least I'm investing something to the platform, my precious time. Although I'm thinking to really invest a fiat, it's just that I'm having hesitation due to the rumours that I could go even lower to 20 cents. It sounds bad for the current investors but a great opportunity for incoming investors.
Actually, I was quite skeptical and very frustrated about the decline in STEEM prices this time. The decline is very sharp, and may even get worse and return to the initial price of $ 0.07.
However, I don't care, and will keep it. I'm sure if the price is cheap, it's the right time to invest, and I'm pretty sure the Steem network will be even bigger when the SMT is released.
