Did you actually grow up what you really wanted to be in life?

Yes actually, but it didn't happen without long and hard work to get there.

Since I was little, I've always wanted to be a writer. Preferably a journalist for any major newspaper. While that didn't happen exactly, I have turned writing into my full-time job.

To get there, I've given up on many other jobs that offered way more security and a better paycheck. All because I just knew that I wouldn't be completely happy if I didn't pursue a self-employed career in writing.

I've only become somewhat successful around one year ago. That was the point where I started to make enough money to support myself. The time before that, I was barely scraping by, but I kept on going anyway against better judgment.

In the end I'm glad that I didn't give up on my dream, because I truly believe that it's very important to pursue a career that makes you happy to be alive. Instead of wasting your precious time, working a job that you are not passionate about.

No I did not. I wanted to be a zookeeper when I was a kid but now I barely have time for the 1 dog I have.
