Realistically, the XYO project will probably fail, because it only works if it's rolled out at a massive scale, so that you can expect your Sentinel to meet other Sentinels. And it needs to compete with GPS, which is funded by US taxpayers. 

You're paying  $397.00 for a geomining kit and I'm not sure what kind of rewards you'll be getting in return. It looks fishy to me that they claim an original value of $997. The kit isn't sold through retail and will have little value outside of the XYO network. It's just a modified Raspberry Pi plus 8 Bluetooth beacons.
