Should Musing.io have their own token?
ok we all know that the SMT buzz is everywhere and it seems the project could be a very successful one and we have so many projects under the SMT that have created their own token already,my question is since this musing.io is a lovely project,do you think musing.io should have their own SMT token that will be majorly used on this platform??

Every project currently running on the Steem blockchain should create its own SMT to not only further reward their users but to be able to gather some extra funds to develop new features and improve current ones.

At the time of writing this, I don't see any downside to every project creating its own SMT, dtube, dlive, musing, busy, steem monsters. All of these projects and more can take advantage of having their own token on the Steem Blockchain!

That would be pretty cool! Musing is not that big right now, and even with a token, it might not become very big. However, there is a lot of freedom about how to use Smart Media Tokens. If anything, it would be an improvement without downsides.

Something that could be possible with SMT's would be the introduction of a point system where people who interact a lot get a bigger percentage of tokens, and also parallel rewards with upvotes being given together with tokens for good questions and answers.

It's a good idea. I wonder if the Musing team will look into this.

I don't think there's a problem if Musing releases their own tokens, just like other platforms integrated with steemit, maybe musing.io may try to release SMT, just like other platforms.
