STEEMPower is the weight a user's upvote carries which contributes to the amount of a payout or the rewards on that user's or another user's posts. STEEMPower can be increased as one claims his or her curation or author rewards from his or her posts, and can also be increased through powering up by using available STEEM or converting available SBD into STEEM, and then powering them up..  STEEMPower can also be bought through Blocktrades using accepted cryptocurrency on that platform. The higher the STEEMPower, the bigger the weight of one's upvote.

Reputation, on the other hand, is simply the number found next to the user's name. Reputation ,in general, affects the visibility of a user's post. Posts made by users with very low reputations are hidden, while those of users with very high reputations stand out. Reputations are increased through the upvotes a user receives from others. Upvotes from  users with higher reputation and higher STEEMPower earns you a huge spike in your reputation. In the same manner, you can lose your reputation by receiving flags from other users with high SP and Reputation.

There really is no direct relation between Steem Power and Reputation.

SteemPower is just the stake you have on Steem. The more stake you have, the more your votes and your account will be worth. Reputation on the other hand is "supposed" to be a visual indicator to see who are the trustworthy one's on this platform and who are the veterans. If you might have noticed, everytime someone upvotes your post your Reputation increases. The more upvotes you get the more high your reputation is.

Having said that, someone actually made a post showing how Reputation is directly linked to the number of received upvotes. In this post https://steemit.com/steemit/@holger80/reputation-can-be-directly-linked-to-the-amount-of-received-upvotes it is seen that the more high the reputation of an account is, the more upvotes he have already received and thus the more Steem and SP he had accumulated.

If we assume that an account never powers down then we can say that there really is somewhat a relation between Steem Power and Reputation. A higher rep account is most likely to have a big Steem Power.

Steem Power or SP indicates how much influence you have on Steem network. Your upvote or downvote value depends on Steem Power. The more SP you have, the value of your upvote or downvote will be more.

If you have more SP, you can earn more curation rewards by giving upvote to others content. You can buy Steem and increase your SP by power up. Your SP can be decreased in a process called power down. SP is less liquid. It takes 13 weeks equal payment if you start power down.

Reputation is a score that shows next to your name on Steemit, and it indicates how much value you have brought to the community. It is a way primarily other people think the quality of your content.

Your reputation score will go up if you get upvote on your posts and comments from others who have higher reputation. On the other hand, if you get downvote or flag on your posts and comments, your reputation score will go down. Unfortunately, reputation score can be manipulated. Anyone can pay bidbots for upvote and her/his reputation score will increase quickly.

If someone has higher SP, she/he usually has higher reputation. But it is not the case always. Steem Power and Reputation are two separate things. There is no direct relationship between them.

There is no relationship. Steem Power can be purchased as soon as someone joins Steem - for example someone could have 25,000 SP on there first day on Steem, and still have a rep of 25 and have never posted. reputation has to be 'earned' and cannot be bought. Reputation is earned through posting and recieving upvotes.

There is no relationship between steempower and reputation

Steempower is essentially how much you have invested or vested in Steem. This determines how much your vote is worth.

Reputation is a score heavily based on how many upvotes you have received over all. This allows someone to simply "buy" their reputation score.

There is no the relationship between Steem power and Reputation in Steemit. Steem power gives you influence on Steem network. On the other hand, reputation implies how much value you provide to the community.

Steem power or SP can be increased by powering up Steem or getting delegation. If you get upvote from people whose reputation is higher than yours, your reputation score will go up.

Talking about the relationship between steempower and reputation is of course closely related. Because steempower and reputation shows that someone is active in steemit. But if you speak which is more influential. Of course steempower.

reputation score can be said as a number that shows the activeness of a steemians in making original and interesting posts in steemit.

and it can also be said that the higher the reputation score of an account, meaning the more knowledge of the world of steemit it has. While Steem Power is one that shows the upvote power of each account.

The reality is that our reputation increases the moment we received "Upvotes" from users. That's the basic fact. The upvote value that we receive pertain a certain amount of Steempower - so as our reputation.

The bigger Steem Power holders upvoting as (and considering the voting weight placed), the bigger boost on reputation received. The computation for determining one's reputation is the accumulation of Vests a user received from the votes.

With the accumulation of Vests (Steem Power) from the votes received, a users reputation increases. The same thing it will happen with downvoting, a user's reputation will decrease when users downvote his posts (Steem Power and voting weight will still matter).
