How is carbonara pasta made?
I would like to know the origin of this dish end the recipe

The origins of pasta alla carbonara date back to World War II when American troops fought in Italy.

During the war the Italian people suffered from hunger but with the arrival of the allies the situation changed.

It is thanks to the intersection between the American food supplies and the Italian culinary culture that the carbonara was born.

Spaghetti carbonara recipe

*Ingredien (for 2 person):

- Pork belly 90g

- Egg large 1

- Parmesan 50g

- Onion 1/2

- Spaghetti 180g

- Parsley

- Pepper

- Oil

- Salt


1)Put a large saucepan of water on to boil. Add salt when it boiling.

2)Chopped the onion and put it in the pan with oil. Leave to cook on a medium heat for about 5 minutes, stirring often.

3)Meanwhile, cut the pork belly and put it in the pan with the onion.Leave to cook.

4)Add the spaghetti to the boiling water. Leave to cook for the time indicated in the package.

5)Cut parsley.

6)Beat the egg in a medium bowl with the cut parsley, Parmesan, pepper and a little of salt.

7)Before drain the pasta take with a bowl a little of hot water.

8)Put the pasta in the pan with the pork belly and the onion and stir. Add a little of cooking water that you have taken. Leave to cook for 1 minute

9)Remove the pot from the heat and add the egg mixture. Stir it quickly.

10)Your spaghetti carbonara is ready to be eat. Enjoy your meal
