It's a new feature. It's a long-term play in my mind. One that adds a deep utility to each community coin. The ability to promote within communities provides a source of revenue to the community. The revenue generated from these promoted posts is currently distributed amongst the mods of a community. In the future, revenue-sharing amongst community coin holders can be easily added to allow everyone to profit from the community's engagement.
