What would you say if someone told you crypto was going to 0?
Imagine you have a friend who knew little about crypto and was convinced that it was scam and going to 0. I would talk to them about all the great projects, and that crypto is more than just Bitcoin! Also there is to much money (and time) invested in crypto for it ust to fall to 0

First, it's never going to get to zero, ever. I mean, there will always be someone who's willing to pick the tokens up, even for just the fun of it.

Secondly, the platforms will have to die as well. But that's unlikely. For instance, if there's at least one computer running a witness node, steemit would continue to exist. And while it does, I'm very sure some people would be interested in the tokens. Well, I would.

At the very beginning, people joined cryptocurrency because they were fascinated about it. The bloom got everyone interested. When the price gets very very low, I'm sure those who are fascinated (the real believers) will still hold on to it.

And as long as someone is willing to pay, even pennies, the Blockchain will remain

I would tell them to go back on facebook's "instant gratification" feed and pay no mind to things they don't understand.

Anyone who will call Steem a scam, when you can show them a real time withdrawal is a special kind of stupid. I wouldn't waste my time with them.

"Yeah, sure"

I mean people around the Internet including the mainstream media say this almost all the time (or at least spreading FUD all the time). If you believe in the fundamentals of cryptocurrency projects and the potential it may bring for freedom from the current fiat banking system the price of cryptos you hold shouldn't concern you all too much. Lower price means opportunity to buy more.

I can only laugh on this.

If he says the other scenario like it is going to print even much more lower value than what it is now and it will be break all the multi-year support then I may take him seriously and to be honest these are the transformations which really tests the patience of an investor and those who stand tall during such situations are the real winners and they really make good return out of their investment and if you do not know how to practice patience then investing is probably not your cup of tea.

Just like the ultra bull run is a reality which we witnessed in second half of 2017, so as the ultra bear run which we are witnessing now and the market always swings from bull to bear sentiment and vice versa, one need to time the market, make proper analysis and research, study the fundamentals, make proper money management and invest that much which one can afford lose, there is no worry to see all these transformations rather this kind of transformation bring more opportunity for a trader.

Everything in our life goes through a cyclic process, be it the seasons, be it the state of our life, be it being happy or being sad, be it any other aspect of life and market is also one of those aspect and the investment goes through these processes and cycles and bring maturity to a investor and finally yield profit for the investment, if you are always ready for long term scenario then you are always in for a pleasant surprise.

Patience is virtue and time brings transformation, be a witness to these transformations and enjoy the market and always look for extra opportunity.

Thank you and Have a great day.

I have such friends that think crypto is going to 0 and I understand them. The same thing was with internet also years ago when some said that it has no use that what do we need it for and here we are using it everyday. I explained as much as I could the blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies to as many as possible but I don't wanna be like Jehovas Witnesses knocking on their doors every day. If they want to understand it's fine, if not let them believe what they want. I don't like forcing people to anything that I am convinced of. It's fine for me that I am and that's enough. Same thing happens with Steemit also. I have explained it to people over and over again but they simply don't want to join it. They are accustomed with Facebook and other types of social media and don't want yet to join Steemit. Probably when it will be worth $10 they will change their mind. Who knows? During these bearish times it's pretty hard to convince the ones that know about crypto that it is not going to zero. It's worth trying though.

I wouldn't argue with him as what is the point. Everyone has the right to their own opinion and by not forcing him to get involved and invest it leaves it open for I told you so moment .

Lots of people don't understand what is going on and they are ignorant to what we know. i have stopped arguing and just ignore them now. One of us is going to be seriously wrong and it isn't me.
