Definitely parental behaviour is very important and critical to a child’s growth; emotionally, physically and morally. If he was raised in a family wherein there cases of trouble and constant shouting among the two parents, chances are the child is sad and likely to inherit those traits. Children learn first from their parents and they are so good in imitating because what they see is something good to them, that’s their mentality. Additionally, there is a verse in the Bible that states that “Train up a child in a way he should go and we he grows old he won’t depart from it.” That verse means that if you raise the child right, he will grow and be used to it and when he grows old he knows which is good and which is bad. Nowadays, crimes are increasing and one of those reasons is that this people weren’t raised properly when they young.
Well I once read somewhere that children follow what you do alot less than what you say so I believe that a child's overall behaviour is determined alot more by how the parents behave and a lot less by what they say.
Let me use myself for instance, my dad always told us to brush our teeth twice a day, once in the morning and once in the night, and at first we obeyed, but then I noticed that I never once saw him brush his teeth at night and because of that I slowly stopped doing it as well.
There are alot of behaviours that my dad had which I've unknowingly imbibed and alot of things which he'd say to us that would enter from one ear and leave through the other. All I'm trying to say is that parental behaviour is possibly the most crucial aspect of child raising because long before children can even make sense of good or bad, they're going to try and mimic everything their parents do.
I hope this helps.
Parental upbringing is very important to a child life and future as it can determine many factors in a child future.
What children learn when they are young tend to stay with them forever if possible so it's very important parents bring up their child in the right way and Godly way.
Parents must learn to teach their child things that will mould them for the future because what they learn stick with them.
Parental guidance is the most sensitive stage of a child and must not be taken for granted at all.
Some people are wayward today because of the kind of upbringing they had when they were young.
Like the Bible said in proverbs;
Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
