Israel Launches Record-Breaking Cyberattack on Iran

Israel reportedly carried out what security sources describe as the largest cyberattack in history against Iran, alongside its recent military strikes. The operation caused a near-total collapse of Iran’s internet connectivity, cutting traffic down to just a few percent of normal levels.

Major government and state-affiliated websites were taken offline, while communication systems used by security forces were severely disrupted. The cyber offensive aimed to cripple Iran’s ability to coordinate military responses, particularly operations linked to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.

Western intelligence officials say the attack targeted critical infrastructure and command networks to create confusion and delay retaliation. The operation highlights how cyber warfare has become a central weapon in modern conflict, capable of paralyzing a nation without firing a single missile.
