Why did Charlie Lee (Founder of Litecoin / LTC) sell LTC before the cryptocurrency market was destroyed?

First, I searched the internet for proof of this statement and found none. I would appreciate a link. However, I don't think this is something Charlie Lee would say.

First off, he's a significant member of the cryptocurrency space. Granted, he sold all of his LTC holdings but that doesn't alienate him from the market.

I remember when btc pumped to $8,000 some months back. He actually asked his twitter followers to buy btc two days before the pump. To think he's now against cryptocurrency is a hard pill to swallow.

However, if he did say that, it's probably just a plan to make the prices go lower so he and his cohorts can buy at cheaper prices.

To end this, one person's pronouncement doesn't mean much currently in the cryptocurrency space. There was a time John McAfee used to make pronouncements. When he realized they no longer affect prices he retired.
