Stress is something you face every day in various forms and levels. Everyone handles stress in a different way. For some of us, stress can be so strong and cannot be controlled. This can affect your sleep hours and your ability to regulate daily activities. So if you are stressed and feel everything is weighing on you. Do not worry! No matter how stressful your life is, there are steps you can take to reduce pressure and regain control.
1. Get to know your stress
Stress can occur after major life events such as changing jobs, moving houses, or losing a loved one, but to determine the source of everyday stress properly can be more complicated. Symptoms when you experience stress can include mental, social, and physical manifestations such as fatigue, loss of appetite, headaches, crying, insomnia, and excessive sleep. Escape using alcohol, drugs, or other compulsive behaviors is often an indication. Feelings of panic, frustration, or apathy can accompany stress.
2. Stay active
This is an effective way to help your body get rid of fatigue and stress. By using this method, you can forget things that make you uncomfortable. In addition, you can feel more energized when endorphins are released in the body. You don't need to spend hours at the gym or doing intense exercise. You can start with light stretching for 10 minutes every day. This will increase your heart rate and can make you sweat. Exercise can reduce stress and give you more energy. This can change your brain chemistry to be more positive. Over time, you can improve your exercise.
Besides doing sports, other activities such as listening to music and dancing or walking with your dog can also help. Just going out and walking for a while feeling the rhythm of life around you will also help you forget stress.
3. Manage your time
One of the main causes of stress is the pressure that comes from a list that you have to "do." You may have to solve everything from the list but you can't finish it all at the same time. It is recommended that you must prioritize and take turns in completing your tasks. You must have a plan, list all tasks in priority order and add notes to tasks with detailed deadlines.
Managing your schedule not only helps you overcome problems at times, but can also provide more free time. As a result, you will not feel burdened again.
4. Enough sleep
Adequate sleep time plays an important role in reducing stress. But stress can interfere with your sleep by allowing various thoughts to keep spinning in your head. In this case, do not rely too much on drugs. You need to follow these tips to get fast asleep. There are no things that stress you in your bedroom. Take a hot shower or read a story to relax before going to bed and avoid caffeine or alcohol. Stop your work so your brain has time to calm down. You also have to have sleep and wake up at the same time every day.
5. Receive things that you cannot change
There are many things you need to learn to accept and not wait for change. It's hard to accept changes, but accepting is easier than rejecting it. Remember that there are many things in life that are beyond your control. Instead of trying to control, you must find ways to adapt to them. Learning to forgive and forget is also a way to escape stress.
Stress makes us physiologically ready for emergencies so it is considered helpful in some cases. This means that our ability to control this natural reaction can be beneficial. However, be careful in controlling it and make sure that you are not out of control
There are a couple of things that I follow when I'm stressed out. Following are some ideas that should help a person when he or she feels stressed out.
1. Go for a walk in the garden - walking in the beautiful garden where there is a lot of greenery helps you get rid of the stress. At least for me, it has helped. When you are close to nature you tend to forget your immediate worries and try to enjoy the greenery, flowers, the fresh air that it results in bringing you at peace and you feel much better. Just give it a try.
2. Practice Silence - this is very simple and should help a person during times when he is stressed out. Simply just keep quite find a lonely place if possible close your eyes for like 5 minutes and don't speak anything as result you will find peace.
3. Play with kids - Yes, playing with kids helps you get back on track. Normally due to the heavy workload when I'm stressed out, I have a couple of times tried this technique that I spend like 1/2 an hour playing with kids. Play any game you like with the kids may it be running, football, cricket any game you prepare and you will notice that the stress is released out and you have all your energy back.
4. Talk to your loved ones - at times when you talk to your loved ones and share the problems with them, it relaxes your minds. A person just needs someone who is listening to him or her. So talk to your loved ones as much as you can during the time you are feeling stressed and believe me it will act as a stress buster and give you all the happiness back.
5. Try taking a Nap - sometimes when our body is tried and we didn't have a proper sleep it results in stress. So it is always recommended by experts that when there is a stress that is troubling you - just take a break for a while and if possible close all the work your doing at the moment and try taking a powerful nap i.e. take some sleep and rest - this should give you some release and you would feel better.
There are many other methods and techniques that should help a person to get rid of the immediate stress. But it drills down to which one suits you - for some people exercising, drinking a fresh cup of tea, listening to music, eating right, meditation, and many such other things have proven to be helpful. I would say just try out any of the methods listed above and it should help you to an extent.

I also dance, I'm a dancer so dancing relaxes me and distracts me a lot, dancing is something that makes me forget about my problems, and transports me to a world where only the step I'm making and a good rhythm matter, if not you are a dancer, I recommend you to dance, you will have a good time and you will be distracted and you will laugh, even if it is only doing a dance in front of the mirror, but do it.
I also like to take something that relax me, this can be a hot tea that relaxes me or a cold beer, any of the 2 is valid and I take it according to what I want at the moment. There are people who relax having a coffee (I do not do it because I do not like it) but you can take whatever you want that makes you relax a bit.
Another thing I do when I'm stressed is to go for a walk walking, I can walk and that way I exercise and I get distracted by seeing the street, people, in fact I can even go for a walk with a friend, and that distracts me a lot.
Another thing that relaxes me is playing with cards, I am a lover of card games so that distracts me and makes me happy, takes my competitive side and only concentrates on the plays with the cards completely forgetting my problems.
Another thing I do is go out with my boyfriend, go to the movies, eat or just go for a walk, relaxing us both, talking and feeling that warmth of their embrace, that really relaxes me.

And depending on the situatution and the time I have, I meditate longer, for 10 or 20 Minutes or so, or a meditate only shortly, 30 seconds to 3 minutes. For the shorter mediation, I use simply pranayama (from yoga) breathing techniques, such a 3 long belly breaths, or more.
