There are actually bullies on Steemit but it seems that the rate of bullying tend to be reducing drastically which is really very good to talk about. Actually, I heard there are some whales that flag or downvote some minnows posts for the best reason known to them even though the content doesn't contain any offensive attributes. This also applies to some people with high steem power than others such that some tend to flaunt or oppress others just because of their influence or steem power on the steem blockchain.

The presence of bullying has actually led to some minnows being selective in the type of article or content they wish to publish while some are even afraid of expressing their mind just because they don't want to get flagged or bullied by some people of higher authority. The sad problem is that there are now bots on the Steemit platform that are already programmed to downvote your posts for no specific reason unless you meet with the creator of the bots.

In conclusion, I think the rate of bullying is now reduced unlike before though. I haven't really heard any news from anyone about being bullied by anyone and this really shows that Steemit is becoming more great and safer to be when it comes to expressing your mind or thoughts to the world about how you feel.

We also need to encourage the attitude of discipline just like @cheetah and @steemcleaners is doing when it comes to eradicating plagiarism on the steem blockchain.

Thanks for reading and I hope this helps.

Is there any place you won't find bullies in the first place? There are actually bullies everywhere. It actually depends on how you deal with people like them and live the type of life you please to live.

There will surely be bullies on Steemit even though some of them are mostly triggered by their high steem power which makes them want to bully or oppress those who seem to be lower than them in terms of steem power or ranks.

How do you deal with them?

Always ensure you don't cause problems with them and avoid making such people angry to avoid getting flagged or downvoted.

I wrote an article about this issue as was smashed by the bullies recently. Steemit needs to add a block user to the platform so that we can all protect our posts from abusers. If we can keep abusers off our posts then Steemit will be a much more healthy stable environment for everyone.

If you dont like a blog or posts, CLICK CLOSE. DO NOT abuse, harrass, downvote or slander. Do not call scam and do not fall into the sin of false accusation. We get called scam by online abusers who never even look at our social enterprise let alone did the amount of social contribution we do in a day.

Lets all work to make steemit a safe place UNLIKE fakebook.

There is a bully named Neil96 on here going around slandering people lying about hem false accusing them without any information at all which is illegal in every country. Not ONLY are their bullies, but raging internet psycho criminals also of course. I have been advocating for a block feature to Steemit. We all need to advocate for this and keep lists of the bullies, attackers, false accusers and report them to every possible source.

There are more spammers than bullies on Steem, so I take these complaints with a grain of salt.

I've been downvoted once for using a particular tag. I protested strongly but in polite terms, and eventually we reached a compromise.
