Binance to me is the best trading platform now. The challenge they faced which I can say was handled quite well is one that can happen to any platform.
I will certainly trade with Binance again because there is no exchange that is 100% safe from hacking.
Moreover, Binance's CEO CZ was very transparent about the whole incident, doing an-ask-me-anything session shortly afterwards.
Not only that, Binance has a reserve fund that insures all the coin held in its custody against hacks. This is a good measure to palliate the effect of the stunning hack.
Finally, I think Binance is on the right track and should be supported at this time instead of being deserted.
Absolutely, I have found Binance to be one of the easiest platforms to trade on. It is usually my go to method for converting LTC or BTC to EOS or Steem. That being said, I make it a point to not leave any currency on the exchange. I only transfer the currency before I make the trade and then as soon as the trade is finished I move the resulting currency off the exchange.
I have never been a big fan of leaving my cryptos on exchanges anyway. I understand it gives some people a chance to trade quickly and take advantage of price fluctuations, but I am kind of in this thing for the long haul so I don't really mind not doing the whole day trading type thing.
I do wish that I had purchased some Binance token when it was so low. Even after the hack, the price of their coin is still over $20 and I think that is pretty awesome. I remember when it was around $5 and I thought that was way too expensive. I sure am kicking myself now!
I’d definitely trade on Binance again, it is a good opportunity for Binance to improve their security features to the next level so that hacking wouldn’t happen again. I believe, as years will pass by, many hackers would try their best to do some nasty hacking and cybersecurity experts should work closely with cryptocurrency exchanges and wallet providers and blockchain operators should collaborate in tackling and battling this criminal activity. Maybe right now many would FUD and may perhaps withdraw their cryptocurrency holdings, I think in the next few days traders confidence would be back to normal.
Hell yes! The only people that lost money from this breach are the owners of Binance. No customers will lose a penny. They handled this thing properly, which, in my mind, increases trust.
