Is there a song you can't get enough to listen to these days? If yes, what is the answer?
At certain times of life, people love some songs and they constantly listen to them.

Today My Life Begins - Bruno Mars

This hit me hard when I recently graduated as a Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering. That was a tweaky college ride I say. Then I was strolling in Youtube and accidentally bumped to this song from Bruno Mars. As I was listening to this song, I noticed the lyrics. It narrated my story which made me look back why I am now here, feeling relieved of the hard-earned 5 years.

I realized that it was really a tough ride to imagine. I remember when it was my first year in college that I barely had money to spend even on commuting. Riding a jeepney was not an option but to walk. The problems we faced in the family and being a working student at the same time studying.

What amazed me was that it was the song played during our Tribute Ceremony as a a working scholar. It has been a tradition for us that working scholars graduated will be receivinf a farewell party intended to celebrate their success. Our association treats each members as a family and it has been a long running culture for us.

That song was played again ang had stuck me. Then I said, "Wow! What is this feeling?" I can't explain the feeling at that moment and I was completely happy because the song really narrated my journey.

I am not sure if everyone is familiar with the song "Good Riddance (Time of Your Life)" by Green Day. The song was released by second half of 1997 from the band's album "Nimrod". I admit, I am not a fan of the song when it was released since I was teenager then, and I prefer more adventurous, uptempo, and edgier kind of songs then. But as I grow up, I began to love and appreciate the songs that I used to dislike before. This song is actually one of them.

The reason why I love the song is the nostalgic effect of what was life then. Despite the lyrics not really accordingly to what you believe it is, there's a certain kind of feeling that it takes me to such situations as saying goodbye to your friends on a graduation day. It also brought me to thoughts of the song being played at the prom. It also brings me to a situation where I am on a travel at the countryside. I love music and many songs brings me to such mood. I have the connection in a song when it takes me to some kind of situation. But there's something in my thoughts that the song's sentimental nature ha sits effect on me. I might be getting old being at mid-30s, and I am looking back at the good old days. Oh well, I said a lot. But I can suggest that song to you by Green Day.

Yeah there is a big list of songs that I usually keep on loop until my job is finished. Here is the list of songs that I have listened hundred of time.

1. Savage Rockstar

2. Uptown Funk by Bruno mars

3. Happier by Marshmallow

4. Ignite by k-391

5. Dunya by Axel Thesleff

6. Bad karma by Axel Thesleff

7. Alec Benjamin - let me down slowly (My current favorite)

8. Pewdiepie outro 2018 (Yeah its good)

9. Harry potter leaving hogwarts soundtrack(reminds me of my childhood)

10. You can cry by Marshmallow

Alex Benjamin - let me down slowly is a great song. The singer is too young but still his voice has enough talent to hold you for a while. He reminds me of khalid. Give the song a try, I bet you will keep it on loop. There are two remixes of this song, Eastern odyssey remix and fairlane remix.  Here is the link of official song video.

There is! And it's a french song titled: SOS d'un terrien en détresse (Lemarchal's version)

Ever since I heard that song years ago I just instantly fell in love with it. For some reason I can somewhat relate to the lyrics of the song. Contemplating about  life and the need to be desperately saved by someone. :)

Although thank God I've found Steem this year as I now have an outlet for my random messy thoughts. But I really do love that song and still play it when I feel like I'm all alone and feel that the world is against me. XD

That will be a song by local Nigerian singer Kizz Daniel. The song titled No Do is one that speaks about the excesses of Man. It reminds one to be watchful of material things in life. It also teaches us to always remember tomorrow as things may change very quickly. The afro-beat song is a must hear for anyone and it is on repeat everytime for me.

Yes there is this song that lately I can't get enough of it. It speaks to my inner mind. This is not just because the song artist is popular or have a great voice but the lyrics of the song and the melody is so beautiful that I put it on replay anytime I get the chance to listen to music.

The song I am talking about is titled "Count on me" by Bruno mars. The song talks about the importance of friendship and what friendship entails. According to the lyrics, friendship is all about being there for each other no matter the weather of time of day, to love and support each other and to stay loyal

Here is the lyrics for your pleasure.

If you ever find yourself stuck in the middle of the sea,

I'll sail the world to find you

If you ever find yourself lost in the dark and you can't see,

I'll be the light to guide you

Find out what we're made of

When we are called to help our friends in need

You can count on me like one two three

I'll be there

And I know when I need it I can count on you like four three two

You'll be there

'Cause that's what friends are supposed to do, oh yeah

Whoa, whoa

Oh, oh

Yeah, yeah

If you tossin' and you're turnin' and you just can't fall asleep

I'll sing a song

Beside you

And if you ever forget how much you really mean to me

Everyday I will

Remind you

Find out what we're made of

When we are called to help our friends in need

You can count on me like one two three

I'll be there

And I know when I need it I can count on you like four three two

You'll be there

'Cause that's what friends are supposed to do, oh yeah

Oh, oh

Yeah, yeah

You'll always have my shoulder when you cry

I'll never let go

Never say goodbye

You know you can

Count on me like one two three

I'll be there

And I know when I need it I can count on you like four three two

And you'll be there

'Cause that's what friends are supposed to do, oh yeah

Oh, oh

You can count on me 'cause I can count on you

You can listen to it on YouTube. Enjoy.

Utada Hikaru - First Love.

That's a song from 1999, but it's a good song even to this day.

Stairway to Heaven by Led Zeppelin. Timeless classic I will always be willing to listen once more.

Another one is the whole Lateralus album of Tool, in the Fibonacci order. That's just a master piece, the holy gift how it's sometimes referred to as. It contains messages that will make you be more aware and mindful about life.

**I can't stop listening to HERE TO STAY BY DEBIE RISE**

This song has been an inspiration to me to keep fighting for my dreams no matter the challenges I encounter in my journey. It lifts up my spirit each time I listen to it. It encourages me never to settle for anything less no matter how tough things might be. I must say this song is a master piece.

Lyrics for Here to Stay by Debie Rise

There is a voice in me

There is a light in me

That needs to be heard and needs to be seen

I carry so much power

I carry so much grace

With which I can bless the world

And make it a better place

But there are demons that I

I have to fight

Things that are dragging me down

Stopping me from

Shinning bright

So I will fight my way

Till the whole world

Recognizes me

I will not stop

I will not settle for anything less of me

And I will rise up tall

And pray to never fall

Until I seat with kings of my emistery

In my world

Am here to stay

So I will wake-up

“There is a voice in me— Debie Rise

Read, write, workhard, rehearse

Learn a new thing

Train myself

Go about my days activities and

Whatever it is that makes

Me a better person

Until I reach my target of the mark

I set for myself

Train my mind

And make sure my mind is in charge of my bdy

Do the things that people think is an impossibility

And be the best that I can ever be

The sound of silence

This maybe an illegitimate answer because it is a song that is almost 50 years old and I bet virtually no one who responds to this may have ever heard it.  It's called "Reflections (of my life)" by Marmalade, great late 1960s song give it a listen it's very cool.

Heavy - Linkin Park

I listen to this song whenever I get the chance to hop in my spotify. It was a melancholic song. It talks about despair and emptiness.

Its very rare for me to find a song that exactly speaks what im feeling. I happen to have this on my playlist long ago. Until it hit me when I was devastated. It suddenly had a meaning.

Oh god yes.

Lately, it's been Riptide by Vance Joy. Although lyrically simple, it has such a timeless quality to it. I didn't know this song was made in 2013 when I first heard it, I thought it was a masterpiece from from the golden age of music.

This song is also connected to so many of my happy memories. Of car rides with friends, or that one party when I go a little too tipsy. Much like smells can bring back memories, songs do the same. It makes me nostalgic and happy for my past memories.

Some others are Ashes To Ashes by David Bowie - an absolute fat banger. The tempo and instrumentals just want to make you move.

Home by Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros - this folk song makes me happy for a time that doesn't exist. Paper Towns summarises how it makes me feel - 'I'm in love with people I haven't met, and places I haven't been' . The lyrics are almost a promise that this time will exist, and that's why the nostalgia sweeps over me.

I wrote a Steemit post on my top ten song a while back: https://steemit.com/teamaustralia/@jordan.white306/top-10-song-challenge

Thing is, I mostly do not listen to songs, but whole few hour sets at once. But depending on what is going on in Europe on the streets, I feel like I have to listen to Rage Against the Machine - Killing In the Name  every few days :)
