Every year, we are a year older, we move from a certain age upwards. From 1 to 2 and then from 2 to 3 and it goes on till forever. 

It continually goes up. But never for once comes down.

There can be multiple good/proper/correct answers to this question. The age of the people on Earth. We are getting older second by second. But "The debt of a very irresponsible person" (or "the stupidity of some people") can also be a good answer to this question. It all depends on your sense of humor.

That's a very interesting puzzle. Well People going on the pilgrimage have never been called down on the pilgrimage when returning to their hometown So the ride that never goes down is the pilgrimage.
