Codebase Season 1 - Ones To Watch

musing.io is a SocialFi platform, like Reddit but with tokenized economies. StringPay is tokenizing the construction industry payment flow. Axon is building low cost, fast and trustless non-custodial fiat-crypto swaps. [2nd place at Codebase] TalentLayer is building a reputation system for freelancers that is independent of underlying platforms, where your reputation is owned by the owners themselves. Mezzanine, from the founder of the ConstitutionDAO, is an open source library for onchain organizations. It targets daos, guilds, smart companies and other institutions that run on a chain, and provides a unified and streamlined interface for them. Sentimint is about inscribing products with sentiments and special memories forever. Gauthier described Suzaku, a system that orchestrates restaking for sovereign networks. It is integrated with external restaking ecosystems, such as ETH, and uses Avalanche subnets for its operation. Inertia is building a next generation prediction market. PMs have always been fascinating and this project makes them super easy to launch with nocode. [1st place at Codebase] five.w is a novel SocialFi platform, looking to address the broken academic publishing pipeline. It moves the peer review process on chain, restricts journal spamming, and incentivizes researchers to participate. Feels a bit like The Arena meets Google Scholar. [3rd place at Codebase] The Guild is a web3 protocol to monetize the gig economy with a decentralized autonomous marketplace. Dripit is building a MusicFi economy, with artist/creator tokens. SocialFi meets music culture at Trppn. Excellent name for a promising app that combines Spotify with Festivals with Events with music culture. CCX is working on a decentralized and tokenized, but regulated, future by enabling CBDC-native blockchains. Lendr is working on synthetic real world assetization, essentially on building synthetic decentralized assets that track RWAs, which in turn bring diversification to the chain. Did I miss someone? Who is your personal favourite?

Not difficult to see, my favourite is Musing. Loving Reddit and web3 and seeing that approach to merge these two things is just really promising. There is so much potential in SocialFi and although it's a very early stage (SocialFi in general is early), Musing already giving as a good frame to try it out. Looking forward to the next web3 features added here. Many possibilities to think of!
