Are Rich and Wealthy people really Happy?
Earlier today, I found a post about billionaire Steve Jobs who went down with cancer. After all the money, wealth, fame, his health gave him a drown. In his purported last words: ""I reached the pinnacle of success in the business world. In others’ eyes my life is an epitome of success. However, aside from work, I have little joy. In the end, wealth is only a fact of life that I am accustomed to. At this moment, lying on the sick bed and recalling my whole life, I realize that all the recognition and wealth that I took so much pride in, have paled and become meaningless in the face of impending death." This gives me great concern whether rich people are ever happy? You can read more here: https://steemit.com/life/@uyobong/where-and-with-what-do-you-derive-happiness

This is a tricky one and the answer is:  Yes and no.  Mainly because in order to answer correctly we have to define the terms "rich and wealthy".

One can be rich in a lot of ways.  I am personally rich with love, reciprocal respect for my family and peers and with a general good feeling about things.

I would define wealth wealth as an abundance of all of the the above with the added element of financial security.  It's my contention that because of the well roundedness of the way I define wealth, then it would follow that a wealthy man is always a happy man (or woman).

With that being said, one can be rich with money, love, or respect (all exclusive of one another).  So, someone can be rich with money and not happy because he has only fulfilled one aspect of the pie of wealth.  Another person can have all the love in the world and not be able to pay their bills, thus leading to unhappiness.

So, to pick apart the question a little bit:  A wealthy man is always happy and a rich man can be happy or not.

What is the essence of you having wealth without good health definitely there won't be happiness at all.

Money can certainly help you achieve your goals, provide for your future, and make life more enjoyable, but merely having the stuff doesn’t guarantee fulfillment.

If not all some of them that got their money through a legitimate way are happy, though some might have this money in a legitimate way but will still be battling one problem or the other. Yes, you might be rich but your money can't buy happiness that you need.

I think i am not fully agreed that rich persons are happy. I want to tell importance of health and wealth.

Why is Good Health Important?

Sticking to a healthy lifestyle can be tough. After all, what sounds more fun: walking around the block or going to a sports bar for some wings and beer?

We’re all human, and sometimes we make less-than-healthy choices. But if you eat smart, exercise, manage stress, and quit smoking, you’ll feel better and set the stage for an active and healthy future.

I think one cannot say in general that rich people are happier or unhappier than others. It always depends on the individual person.

The greater part of the general population who isn't rich; imagine that having cash makes you very happy... Be that as it may,,actually cash really makes an individual more of what they are already...

On the off chance that you are a terrible individual, cash exacerbates you.

In the event that you are a decent individual, cash would make you better

In the event that you are happy, cash makes you happier... etc...

The majority of the wealthy individuals is exceptionally happy since they have achieved their objectives in each aspects of their life, the monetary as well as the personal and spiritual aspect. Obviously, there are cases were some wealthy individuals is not really happy at all and however those are extremely uncommon cases...

Those are so uncommon cases that the media to cover up for them and make the world feel all is well with such people...
