In the largest phishing attack reported in June, a user of the Bittensor (TAO) artificial intelligence platform lost over 28,000 tokens, valued at $11.2 million at the time. The incident was disclosed by on-chain analyst ZachXBT through his Telegram channel.
According to ZachXBT, the attacker distributed the stolen funds across 18 different wallet accounts before consolidating them into 16 accounts. These accounts then bridged the tokens from the TAO network to Ethereum and exchanged them for ETH and USDC stablecoins using three different decentralized exchanges.
